The Situation:
A garage fire resulted in a total loss of a detached garage and extensive damage to the siding of the home, as well as damage to the roof of the home.Our Solution:
The home owner came to our booth at the Home Builders Association Home Expo and was so impressed with the representation of Wolgast at the show, he asked us to submit an estimate for the restoration and repairs.
Wolgast created an estimate for the customer and then worked with the insurance company to make repairs to the home, as well as the garage. We also completed code upgrades to the home, as requested by the building inspector. The scope of work included building a garage from the ground up, repairing the siding of the home, roof repairs, power washing the deck and driveway, code upgrades to the home, and removing and installing new insulation in the attic.
We were able to get the garage completely built from scratch, repair the siding to the home, perform roof repairs, put new insulation in the home and perform a final clean up of the exterior and interior of the home, all in house, with zero sub contractor assistance.
We went beyond the scope of the work in the estimate to fix additional problems for the homeowner that were found during our inspections and the course of the project.
The Result:
This entire project was completed in 3 weeks.
The project came in under budget because we were able to complete it so quickly.
